Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Q: How long does shipping take?
Each product description contains an estimated shipping time. A range is given for the number of business days it will take to receive your shipment once the order is processed.

Q: Why are shipping times estimated in ranges and when will I get an exact schedule for delivery?
To offer rare, top quality home goods at low prices we work with the most reputable "hidden gem" manufacturers and suppliers outside of the United States. Your order is shipped to you, from its country of origin, usually with a transfer of shipping couriers when it enters the United States (or specified Country). Upfront we provide a high and low shipping estimate for each of our products. This describes, in number of business days, the least and the most amount of time it could take the item to ship to the United States. NOTE: As soon as your order is shipped you will receive the shipment information, courier and tracking number. You will be able to track your package's route even through its original country. You will receive updates as your shipment travels to and arrives in your home country including courier changes and final tracking numbers.

Q: Do you offer framing for artwork?
It depends on the item. While some of our wall art pieces do not come framed or stretched, others offer framing as an optional upgrade. Check the product description to see if framing is an option.

Q: What is a “canvas print”?
Our canvas prints give customers the pride and status of owning fine art without the hefty price tag while not compromising quality. Canvas describes the cloth on which the painting or art work is printed on. Professional, high-definition, commercial printers are used with special, eco-friendly, high-definition ink. The canvas is treated with a protective coating that prevents bleeding and fading.

Q: If a wall art piece specifies it as “unframed”, what should I expect and how should I display the piece in my home?
Although it is easy and cheap to stretch canvas over a wood frame, the extra weight affects shipping costs greatly. Our unique FREE SHIPPING ALWAYS feature is a great perk to customers. To keep shipping costs down AND continue to offer amazing discounts on extraordinary artwork, pieces are shipped unframed, neatly packaged in a protective tube.

Because a monkey could do it, and it is the most inexpensive, professional-grade framing system for raw canvases, we recommend purchasing canvas stretcher frames and mounting your artwork yourself. Wooden stretchers and canvas stretching DIY kits are abundantly available with a quick internet search or a trip to your local hobby store. We found the average cost for a medium size wooden canvas stretcher under $15.

Standard photo frames work with our canvas artwork as well. Place the canvas inside a frame of compatible size and with the back of the frame secure the artwork will stay smooth and in place.

Q: How much does it cost to have canvas artwork stretched over a wood frame?
DIY Framing: We recommend purchasing wooden stretchers or canvas framing kits and mounting the artwork yourself. Stretching canvas over a wooden frame is as easy as fold and staple. It literally takes just a few minutes to create a professional, clean, ready-to-hang statement piece. Wooden stretchers and canvas stretching DIY kits are abundantly available with a quick internet search or a trip to your local hobby store. We found the average cost for a medium size wooden canvas stretcher under $15.

Professional Framing: If you choose to have your artwork professionally framed or mounted, you’ll have to get a custom quote but safe to say this route is significantly more expensive.
